Healthbox is a counselling service located in Cheshire West, offering short term counselling support to individuals facing a variety of challenges, from anxiety and low mood to life changes and bereavements. We operate a 6 session model with the maximum of 12 sessions if required.​
 

We offer both remote sessions via telephone and video which require you to be in a safe, confidential space to carry out.

Our face to face sessions take place across different locations within cheshire west, predominantly out of GP practices. 

We recruit for students based on the availability of rooms or the demands of the service.
Each area has counselling coordinators who will be your main point of contact during your placement with us.

We ask that you apply for ONE placement space. 

Healthbox asks for the commitment of seeing a minimum of 3 clients per week. This can be face to face, remote or a mix of both. We appreciate some courses require you to start with 1-2 clients to begin with which we can accommodate with the view to increase to at least 3 when appropriate. 

Applicants will be shortlisted and invited for interview either online or at the location of where they are applying to.
